Vitamin D is deservedly central to maintaining the health of our bones and optimal immune system function. Considering the fact that approximately 40% of the world’s population is faced with an insufficient level, the necessity of controlling the vitamin D level in the blood and maintaining it at a sufficient level is obvious.
The team of Vitrotest Bioreagent LLC has elaborated and put into production an ELISA kit Vitrotest® 25-OH Vitamin D (TK122). The test kit is intended for the quantitative determination of total 25-OH vitamin D (25-OH vitamin D2 and 25-OH vitamin D3) in human serum or plasma.
Determination of total 25-OH vitamin D concentration in the test kit Vitrotest® 25-OH Vitamin D is based on a competitive binding ELISA in a two-step incubation procedure. The duration of the assay is 90 minutes, and the range of determination of 25-OH vitamin D is from 0 to 120 ng/ml.
