"Vitrotest® SARS-CoV-2 IgG QuantiSpikeTM" is ELISA kit for the quantification of IgG antibodies to the spike protein of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (test kit calibrators standardized according to the 1st WHO International Standard for anti-SARS-CoV- 2 immunoglobulin (human) code: 20/136 (NIBSC, UK)). Highly sensitive and specific test to determine the level of antibodies that, according to scientific data, are able to block the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into target cells.

Given that most vaccines induce antibodies to the spike protein, the determination of specific IgG also makes it possible to assess the presence of protective antibodies not only after the disease, but also after vaccination against COVID-19.
